Man exposed self to girl, 15, walking to school, Osceola cops say

Deputies search for man in suspicious incident

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – Osceola County deputies are searching for a man they say exposed himself to a teenage girl walking to the school bus last week.

Deputies said the 15-year-old girl was walking to school on Tixtla Way at 8 a.m. Friday when she saw a silver vehicle driving the opposite direction.

When the teen turned onto Alderwood Drive, the vehicle followed her and the driver asked her twice if she wanted a ride.

When the girl declined, the man exposed himself before driving away, according to the report.

The ninth grader and her father told Local 6 sleeping has been tough since the incident.

"That's exactly the words that she told me, 'Daddy, I thought he was going to rape me,'" said Norman Rodriguez, the girl's father.

The girl was headed to class at Gateway High School. She told her friends and her father who called 911. Deputies were able to come up with a composite sketch of the man.

The victim described the culprit as a Hispanic male in his early 20s with short brown hair and vertical lines cut in his left eyebrow. The man was driving an older model, four-door, silver Honda with a loud exhaust.

"I'm not really sure what he wanted and I don't even really want to think about what he wanted," said Rodriguez.

"I was scared that something really bad could've happened," the victim told Local 6.

Anyone who has information about the incident is asked to call Osceola County deputies at 407-348-2222 or Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.
