Man sought after trying to force woman to get in vehicle, Osceola cops say

Deputies investigate suspicious incident in Poinciana

POINCIANA, Fla. – Osceola County deputies are investigating a suspicious incident where a man tried to force a woman to get into his car on Wednesday.

Deputies said the incident occurred in the area of New Castle Road and Bromley Court in Poinciana.

According to the report, the woman said she was walking on the sidewalk when she passed a dark-colored SUV. The driver then rolled the front window down and told the woman to get in his car.

Deputies said when the woman pulled out her cellphone, he drove away.

The man is described by deputies as a black or Hispanic male, 33-38 years old with a slim build and short black hair.

Deputies said the man was wearing dark sunglasses, a black T-shirt and black jeans.

Deputies released a picture of a vehicle similar to the one described in the incident. The vehicle was described as an older-model black Ford Explorer with tinted windows, black interior and running boards.
