I-4 reopens in Seminole after crash involving 2 motorcycles


ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – Interstate 4 reopened on Friday morning in Seminole County after a crash involving two motorcycles.

Florida Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred on eastbound I-4 at exit 92, State Road 436, just before 10:30 a.m.

The crash backed up lanes of traffic until the Fairbanks Avenue exit. The road was reopened just after 11 a.m.

FHP listed the incident as a crash with injuries on its website, but it's not clear what the condition of the drivers are.

No other details were immediately available.

Friday morning's crash marks the second time in less than 24 hours that a crash shut down I-4. A fatal crash shut down I-4 in Volusia County late Thursday night.
