Area attractions offer special spring break specials

Florida residents can save up to 50 percent off

ORLANDO, Fla. – In an effort to keep theme park prices affordable for Florida families, four local theme parks will offer discounted pricing during spring break.

Gatorland, a 110-acre theme park and wildlife preserve, open since 1949, Medieval Times, an 11th century-style dinner attraction, thrilling guest since 1983, Wild Florida Airboat and Wildlife park, a 13-acre paradise founded in 2010 and Old Town, a unique collection of shops and dining along with family-friendly amusements since the 1980s are all offering spring break specials for Florida residents.

Gatorland, the alligator capital of the world, is offering a 50% off special for Florida residents through April, 30. This drops the price for adults down to $13.50 and children (3-12) at $9.50, seniors (55+) will only pay $10.80. The park is also offering a zip line special for those wanting to fly above the alligators and free photographers pass for professionals and bird enthusiast who enter by 7:30 a.m. Thursday through Sundays until June 14.

Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament is offering a buy one, get one free special for Florida residence until April 30. The admission includes a two-hour tournament and a four-course medieval feast.

Wild Florida Airboat Tours and Wildlife Park is offering $8 off all wildlife park admission along with a $10 off all one-hour airboat tours for Florida residence.

Old Town is offering $10 unlimited rides on Happy Days Extreme Bumper Cars and Laser Blast attractions along with $25 scream break packages to Legends' A Haunting at Old Town haunted house (7-8p.m.) and Legends' Ghost of Old Town Walking Tour (9:30 p.m.) on March 24-26, reservations are required.

Certain restrictions apply to all of the offers and some black-out dates may also apply. You must provide proof of Florida residency to redeem all offers.
