BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – A motorcyclist was killed and his passenger was critically injured in a crash on State Road 520 Friday afternoon.

Troopers said the crash occurred on SR 520 and Friday Road, killing a 69-year-old man at the crash scene.
The motorcyclist's passenger is a 56-year-old woman in critical condition at Holmes Regional Medical Center.
Troopers said a Toyota was driving northbound on Lake Poinsett Road when it pulled into the direct path of the motorcycle on SR 520 and the front of the motorcycle struck the Toyota.
SR 520 was shut down as the investigation continued, but reopened shortly after the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
