EDGEWATER, Fla. – A 21-year-old man was killed early Tuesday in a single-vehicle crash in Volusia County, police said.
Joshua C. Delarm, of Edgewater, died in the crash, which occurred around 3:35 a.m. in the 4200 block of U.S. Highway 1 in Edgewater, police said.

According to police, Delarm was traveling south on U.S. 1 in excess of 80 mph when his SUV left the road and struck a utility pole and several trees.
Delarm was pronounced dead at the scene, Edgewater police said.
"At this time, it is undetermined whether alcohol was a factor in the crash," police said in a news release.
An investigation is ongoing.
