DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A portion of Interstate 4 East in Volusia County shut down Thursday night for construction.

The Florida Department of Transportation said overnight detours were scheduled on I-4 near Daytona Beach until about 5:30 a.m. Friday, closing the eastbound lanes.
The detour routed traffic onto US 92 east to Interstate 95 and drivers could travel southbound on I-95 to reconnect with I-4.
The times and dates were expected to change due to Thursday night's weather.
