JetBlue computer outage prevents passenger check-ins

System outage causes delays at Orlando International Airport

ORLANDO, Fla. – A system-wide computer outage, preventing JetBlue passengers from getting boarding passes, was restored Monday morning, according to the company.

The issue prevented many travelers at Orlando International Airport from checking in Monday morning.

"Systems are back online after an IT system outage this morning.  The issue was resolved at approximately 6:15 a.m. Eastern Time," JetBlue said in a statement.  "We are working to resume normal operations now.  Customers may experience some delays throughout the day.  We apologize for any inconvenience."

At least three JetBlue flights were delayed at OIA because of the technical issue.
