COCOA, Fla. – Brevard County sheriff's deputies found a wounded man on the side of a house Tuesday morning after receiving two calls about shots being fired.
The man was identified as Jamaal Anderson, 32, of Cocoa, according to deputies.
Anderson was found dead next to a home on A Lane near King Street, not far from Interstate 95 in Cocoa. He was taken to Wuesthoff Hospital and later died, officials said.
Deputies said it's not known who shot Anderson, but it did not appear to be a random act.
The entire street was blocked off by authorities as deputies conduct an investigation.
