Man took inappropriate pics of kids at Disney, deputies say

Man faces video voyeurism charges

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man was arrested on video voyeurism charges after deputies say he took inappropriate pictures of children at Disney's Magic Kingdom.

Yanbo Jiang, a 19-year-old Chinese student studying in the US, was arrested on Monday after the incident was reported on Nov. 27.

The woman said Jiang was taking inappropriate pictures of her 4-year-old daughter while they were watching the night parade and saw him looking down her daughter's pants, according to the report.

According to deputies, the woman said Jiang was standing on his toes, holding his cellphone and trying to take a picture of her daughter's rear end

Deputies said the woman grabbed Jiang, asked what he was doing and directed him to a nearby cast member, who requested security.

According to the report, several witnesses heard Jiang respond he didn't know the girl was 4 and thought she was 5 or 6 years old. He also stated "it's not like I want to be this way," deputies said.

The report states when deputies searched Jiang's phone, they found numerous inappropriate pictures of children between 4 years old and 7 years old taken inside of the park -- including one in a bathroom stall.

Deputies said Jiang was studying at Columbus State University in Georgia but visited the Magic Kingdom late last year and admitted to taking the inappropriate pictures.

School officials said they are aware of the case and at this point he is still enrolled as a student and will be making his way through the student judicial system.
