Members of the team climbed the 400-foot structure to train for possible emergencies on the new attraction on International Drive.

"If they don't make it around the Eye, they won't make (the team)," an Orange County fire official said.

The Orlando Eye is an observation wheel with 30 air-conditioned passenger capsules that give riders a view of the city -- and most of Central Florida -- from above.

Rescue training takes place on the Orlando Eye.

The training comes ahead of the May 4 grand opening of the attraction.

Tickets range from $18 to $32.
