DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Daytona Beach police are searching for the gunman who they say robbed a 7-Eleven on Thursday morning and used a stolen vehicle for his getaway.

Police said the robbery was reported at the 7-Eleven on Mason Avenue just before 2 a.m.
According to the report, the clerk was helping a customer when the man walked in and demanded money out of the register. The gunman then fired one round inside of the store with his 9 mm semi-auto pistol.
The man then left in the stolen vehicle, possibly an Oldsmobile Cutlass.
Police described the man as a black male 25 to 30 years old and approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall with an average build. He was spotted on video wearing black shoes, blue plaid shorts, a dark-colored or dark blue long-sleeved shirt, a dark-colored bandana over his face and a black ball cap.
Video will be released on Thursday, police said.
