LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – A motorcyclist was killed Thursday at the intersection of State Road 50 and Taylor Street in Lake County, officials said.
The Florida Highway Patrol said Richard Edmundson, 32, of Groveland, attempted to make a left turn across the road and went into the path of Mark Adcock, 46, of Dade City, who was driving a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle.

Troopers said Adcock dropped the motorcycle to the ground and struck the side of Edmundson's 2012 Kia. Adcock died in the crash, trooper said.
The crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
