Clerk tied up during armed robbery in Altamonte Springs

Woman suffers minor injuries

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – A CVS clerk was tied up Tuesday morning during an armed robbery in Altamonte Springs, police said.

The robbery occurred around 7 a.m. at the CVS on West Town Parkway.

According to Altamonte Springs police, a robber with a weapon tied the clerk up and stole an unknown amount of cash from the store.

The clerk suffered minor injuries, but she refused to go to a hospital, police said.  CVS told Local 6 that the woman was uninjured and was taken home by police.

It's not know if there's video of the crime.

No other details, including a description of the assailant, have been released.
