Man critically injured in stabbing at his Orlando home, police say

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man is in critical, but stable condition Tuesday after he was stabbed in his own house, police say.

The victim wasn't able to give police any idea about what happened inside his home, but there is a suspect, thanks to a neighbor's security video.

Police say the suspect drove into the neighborhood and walked up to the 26-year-old victim's house. Sometime later, neighbors heard the victim screaming for help and running out of his house at Chicago Woods Circle.

He ran across the street and collapsed in a neighbor's yard. Authorities say he had been stabbed several times.

Neighbors saw the suspect run out of the house and drive away.

Police say the suspect is 25-year-old Miles Acosta. When he drove to a house nearby, police were already waiting for him.

Police say the moment they closed in, Acosta said "You're looking for me." He told them he owns a knife for protection.

Deputies say Acosta admitted to being at the house. They think this stabbing was revenge.

Acosta said the victim had previously robbed him.
