Two 16-year-old boys were arrested Wednesday on charges of armed carjacking and fleeing.  They may also face charges related to damage caused at the cemetery.

According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, the teens carjacked the woman on Gamble Drive in Pine Hills and took off in her sport utility vehicle.  She called 911, and deputies began pursuing the SUV into the Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery, about five miles from the carjacking scene.

"After driving through the cemetery at slow speeds and running over some gravestones, our deputy was able to perform a PIT maneuver," Orange County sheriff's Lt. Paul Hopkins said.

Deputies said they didn't know the suspects were teenagers until they caught them.

"This is an armed carjacking.  This is a 16-year-old with a gun threatening someone for their vehicle," Hopkins said.  "That is not acceptable.  They should be home in bed going to school the next day.  Their parents should know where they are."

The teens were arrested and taken into custody.

The cemetery did not sustain major damage.
