Threat found scribbled on bathroom wall, school officials say
CLERMONT, Fla. – Students returned to class Friday at East Ridge High School after a bomb threat was found in a bathroom, Lake County sheriff's officials said.
The school, at 13322 Excalibur Road in Clermont, was evacuated just before noon after a note was found, Lake County Schools said.
All students were removed from the school and remained outside until the school was given the all-clear by the Lake County Sheriff's Office, which used a bomb-sniffing dog to search the school.
Video from Local 6 News helicopter Sky 6 showed students milling around the football field.
