ORLANDO, Fla. – A 21-year-old woman was arrested on second-degree murder charges in the stabbing death of a woman who was found bleeding last month near an Orlando church.

Lakeisha Sims was arrested Thursday night in the death of Lisa Harrell, 50, who died after being stabbed April 22.  Harrell was found bleeding in the parking lot of the Corner King Food Market on 44th Street near the Precious Hearts Daycare across the street from Church of God by Faith of Orlando, Inc.

According to deputies, Harrell was found after someone called 911 to report the stabbing.

Harrell was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she died a short time later.

Deputies said Harrell had been in a "heated verbal altercation with another female close to the time of the stabbing."
