Fatal crash blocked WB I-4 lanes at Ivanhoe Boulevard, Orlando police say

Police: Driver involved in crash may have been driving recklessly


ORLANDO, Fla. – Multiple westbound lanes of Interstate 4 at Ivanhoe Boulevard were blocked due to a fatal crash, according to the Orlando Police Department.

The crash, involving one vehicle, happened Saturday night in Orlando.

Police said the driver of the vehicle may have been driving recklessly when the driver lost control and rolled over.

The victim, who was not identified, was the only person inside of the vehicle, police said. No one else was hurt in the crash.

Police said only one right lane was open during the investigation. Traffic was backed up to Fairbanks Avenue as of 10:25 p.m. Saturday. Drivers were advised not to stop their vehicles on I-4 for safety concerns.

All lanes have reopened.
