Man accused of domestic battery, false imprisonment arrested, Kissimee police say

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Detectives with Kissimmee police arrest a man who was involved in a domestic incident.

Police responded to a noise complaint at 11 a.m. May 9 and discovered the victim of domestic incident, police said.

Dennis Erin Guerra Alvarez, 19, left the area before the police arrived. He had battered his girlfriend, took her cellphone and deprived her from making calls for help or letting her leave the room, according to Kissimmee police.

Kissimmee police officers said they have obtained an arrest warrant charging Alvarez with domestic battery and false imprisonment.

Alvarez was taken into custody Sunday afternoon and transported to the Osceola County jail.
