Vehicles broken into at Lee Wenner Park in Cocoa

Thieves use tool to enter vehicles, police say

COCOA, Fla. – Police say six vehicles were broken into Sunday afternoon at Lee Wenner Park.

The break-ins, which were all reported after 3 p.m., happened as large crowds were in the area for Cocoa's downtown art show.

Police said a tool was used to open the door locks of the vehicles.

Owners told police items like sunglasses and change were stolen.

No other damage to the vehicles were reported.

Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious is asked to contact the Cocoa Police Departement.
