Man shoots into car, takes shell casings, deputies say

Jorge Santiago-Santos charged with tampering with evidence


OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A man was arrested after deputies say he shot into a vehicle and then took the shell casings.

The Osceola County Sheriff's Office said Jorge Santiago-Santos fired shots into a green Jeep that had two men in it at Heritage Park Inn at 2050 E. Irlo Bronso Memorial Highway..

One of those men was identified as the ex-boyfriend of Santiago-Santos' current girlfriend.

Deputies said they witnessed Santiago attempting to give his girlfriend the shell casings from the incident that he had placed in his jacket.

Santiago-Santos was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail.

He is charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle and tampering with evidence.
