SB SR-417 lanes shut down at mile marker 5 following crash in Orlando, officials say

1-vehicle crash sends driver to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

ORLANDO, Fla. – One person was trapped after a crash Wednesday in the southbound lanes of State Road 417, according to Orange County Fire Rescue.

The crash, which involved only a Jeep, happened after 6 p.m. Wednesday on S.R. 417 at mile marker 5 in Orlando.

Officials said the driver of the Jeep was taken to Osceola Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Southbound traffic was shut down as a result of the crash, authorities said.
