2 stabbed near University of Central Florida

1 victim taken to hospital

ORLANDO, Fla. – Two people were stabbed early Friday near the University of Central Florida.

Orange County deputies said one victim was found near the intersection of Rouse Road and University Boulevard.  A short time later, investigators said they received another call about a stabbing at the nearby Knight Library bar.

Deputies said the stabbings were connected.  Both victims were able to positively identify the suspect, who was arrested.

One of the victims suffered minor cuts and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Deputies said everyone involved is in their 20s, but have not said if they were students at UCF.

No other details were released.
