VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – The Volusia County Sheriff's Office is investigating after two churches were burglarized.
Workers at the Lutheran Church of Deltona, at 1696 Providence Blvd., arrived Friday morning to find that the church and day care had been burglarized. Deputies said the intruder got into the church through the front door.

Deputies said a day later, the Church of Christ, at 1301 Providence Blvd., was also burglarized. The burglar reportedly got into the building through a rear window that had been left unlocked.
Authorities are now investigating whether the burglaries may be linked.
