Mount Dora police search for man in fatal nightclub shooting

Cops: Jose Margarito Aguirre IV sought in shooting death of Jeremiah Barriner


MOUNT DORA, Fla. – Police issued on Monday an active arrest warrant on first-degree murder charges in the death of a man at a Mount Dora bar early Saturday morning.

Mount Dora police said they are searching for Jose Margarito Aguirre IV, 24, in the shooting death of Jeremiah Barriner, 31.

Officers arrived at the Rodeo Night Club on State Road 500 at 1:42 a.m. Saturday regarding a disturbance and crowd control problem.

Officers heard shots fired in the parking lot and saw Barriner on the ground, police said. He was taken to Waterman Hospital in critical condition and later died, according to police.
