Hello Kitty makes debut at Universal Parks & Resorts

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Hello Kitty brand will make its debut at Universal Theme Parks across North America as stores open with merchandise including stationery, home goods, apparel, accessories and collectibles.

Sanrio, Inc., the company best known for their Hello Kitty brand, announced its partnership with Universal Parks & Resorts on Monday.

A Hello Kitty store will open at Universal Orlando Resort later this year and at Universal Studios Hollywood at a later date.

"Our partnership with Universal brings Sanrio's experiential entertainment presence to a new level," said Janet Hsu, the president and COO of Sanrio, Inc. "We look forward to this introduction into Universal theme parks to offer new connection points to Sanrio fans of all ages."
