Robbers zip-tied bank workers, customer, Orlando police say

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police say three gunmen robbed a SunTrust bank and zip-tied employees and a customer.

The robbery was reported at SunTrust on the 5100 block of South John Young Parkway and Americana Boulevard.



Police said the three men came into the bank just after 9:30 a.m. armed with guns and demanded money.

After getting money from the safe, police said the gunmen zip-tied three workers and a customer.

The men then exited the bank and left in a white or grey Explorer.

No injuries were reported.
