Cops: Man honked horn from vehicle while delivering papers


COCOA BEACH, Fla. – A man delivering newspapers has been arrested after he shot at a resident who confronted him, Cocoa Beach police said.

Investigators arrested Steven Naughale II, 27, on an aggravated assault charge at 2:43 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said Tuesday's arrest stems from an incident that happened during the early morning hours of June 4.

Naughale was delivering newspapers in a residential neighborhood and blowing his vehicle horn while doing so, according to Cocoa Beach police.

A resident confronted Naughhale, at which time Naughhale displayed a handgun. Police said he fired one round in the resident's direction.

The resident was not hurt.
