Man sought after robbing woman in Family Dollar parking lot, deputies say

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Orange County deputies are searching for a man they say robbed a woman after trying to rob a Family Dollar.

The robbery was reported at the Family Dollar on Edgewater Drive and Forest City Road just after 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Deputies said the man went into the store and tried to rob it, but then ran away, stopping to rob a woman in the parking lot.

The man was described by deputies as a black man between 20 years and 30 years old, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 185 pounds, with shoulder-length thin dreadlocks pulled back. 

Deputies said the man was wearing a dark baseball cap, T-shirt with "DIRECT CONNECT UCF" written and yellow on the front, khaki pants and white tennis shoes.
