"Winds will shift to bed and come out of the south bringing in plenty of moisture and energy to produce more showers and storms mainly after 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon," said Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges.

Rain chances will continue on and off through Thursday evening for early Thursday morning into the noon hour.

"Thursday afternoon there will be the chance for a couple of stronger storms with strong wind gusts and lightning," Bridges said.

The rain comes a day after strong storms came through the region, bringing flooding to Titusville.

Rain chances will be much lower Friday afternoon into the weekend as drier air works in.
