Maynard Mazard, 27, was charged on Thursday with robbery, burglary of a structure with battery and grand theft in the incident last month.

West Melbourne police said Mazard complained to Chick-fil-A management at the store on Palm Bay Road that an order from a previous visit had been incorrect.

It was not the first time Mazard had made the complaint, so management questioned the validity and decided not to issue Mazard a refund, according to the report.

Police said Mazard, believing an employee was taking his picture from the kitchen, then walked behind the counter, took the phone out of the man's' hand and threw it to the ground, breaking the $700 phone.

West Melbourne police obtained an arrest warrant for Mazard on Thursday and he was arrested. He will appear in front of a judge Friday at 1:15 p.m. and is being held at Brevard County Jail on no bond.
