Volusia deputies search for gunman in Deltona bank robbery


DELTONA, Fla. – Volusia County deputies are searching for the gunman who robbed a bank in Deltona.

The robbery was reported at 2 p.m. at the Fifth Third Bank on Courtland Boulevard on Monday.

Witnesses said the man flashed a gun and ordered everyone to get down on the ground before then hopping over the counter and demanding money, according to the report.

Deputies said the workers handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the robbers left.
