ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A 21-year-old Orlando man was struck by a truck and killed Thursday morning in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Joel Moore died in the crash, which happened around 8:40 a.m. at Orange Blossom Trail and Clarcona Ocoee Road.
According to the FHP, Moore stopped to talk to a driver before walking into the direct path of the truck.
The front of the truck hit Moore, who was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center and later died, the FHP said. The driver was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
