ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – An Orange County Corrections officer has been arrested after a woman accused him of sexual battery.
Shaun Allan Wood, 39, has been dismissed from the department, according to the spokesperson.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office arrest report said the accuser is a woman who shared a home with Wood.
The couple had been arguing Thursday and Wood became forceful.
The report, which is graphic and too explicit at times, said the woman fought against him, but he overpowered her and sexually battered her.
Deputies said he would later strangle her, causing her to lose consciousness. He's also accused of spitting in her face and calling her "crazy" and "delusional."
Wood was arrested and taken to jail.
