OVIEDO, Fla. – Oviedo High School has a new baseball coach.
Players and their parents were told Wednesday night that assistant coach Jason Foss will replace Harold Hitt, who abruptly resigned after an investigation by the Seminole County School Board.
It's not known why Hitt stepped down. The school district said it will release its findings on Monday.
Hitt remains a physical education teacher at Oviedo High.
Oviedo High School recently won the state baseball championship for its division.
