MELBOURNE, Fla. – At least two people were injured Thursday afternoon when an SUV crashed into a Melbourne vet clinic.
The accident was reported around 1 p.m. at the Eau Gallie Veterinary Hospital at 3370 N. Wickham Road.
Melbourne police said an older woman driving the SUV experienced some kind of medical issue and passed out behind the wheel before crashing into the building.
One employee inside the clinic suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The employee and the driver were taken to a hospital.
No animals were injured.
