Arrests made in Bank of America robbery in Kissimmee

Steve Giddens, 58, Mike Olmo, 43, charged with armed robbery

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Police say they have made two arrests in the robbery of a Kissimmee Bank of America Wednesday.

Steve Giddens, 58, and Mike Olmo, 43, were arrested and charged with armed robbery.

Police said at about 2:14 p.m. Wednesday they were called to the bank at 1703 West Vine Street, where witnesses said a white man in a baseball cap and T-shirt entered the bank and demanded money from the tellers.

According to police, even though the robber implied he had a gun, one was never seen.

That man then fled on food.

Giddens and Olmo are now in the Osceola County Jail, where they are being held without bond.
