ORLANDO, Fla. – A woman was injured early Tuesday in a carjacking at a laundromat in Orlando, according to authorities.

The carjacking happened around 1 a.m. near the intersection of North Powers Drive and Colonial Drive.

Orange County sheriff's deputies said the woman was doing her laundry when a man jumped into her car.  She tried to stop him but was knocked to the ground, deputies said.

The woman was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A search failed to locate the carjacker or the woman's gray Mazda 5.

No other details have been released.
