Crashes snarl traffic on I-4 in Volusia
VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – A second crash shut down Interstate 4 in Volusia County on Tuesday afternoon.
The crash was reported on I-4 eastbound at Exit 116, Orange Camp Road, and backed up traffic for more than a mile.
It's not clear if there are any injuries.
Hours earlier, a crash involving a jackknifed FedEx truck blocked lanes on eastbound I-4 in DeLand.
The truck blocked several lanes as the investigation continued and the road reopened just before 4 p.m.
Also in Volusia County, fire officials were investigating a crash involving a motorcyclist in the area of Destination Daytona in Ormond Beach. A trauma alert was called, but no other crash details were immediately available.
