Armed man robs Kissimmee store, police say

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Police are searching for a man who was involved in an armed robbery at Gold Buyers at 4352 West Vine St.

Police said a black man, identified as Johnny McGee, 31, walked into the store Wednesday at about 12:30 p.m., attempted to sell the clerk gift cards, but after several minutes of conversation, he pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money and valuables.

According to Kissimmee police, McGee got an undisclosed amount of money and items and tied up the clerk before leaving the store.

Detectives said they are obtaining an arrest warrant for McGee, who has been seen driving a white, older model, four-door Lexus with chrome rims.

Police said the clerk was not injured.
