Teen stabs other teen in neck during argument, Orlando police say

Victim in serious, stable condition

ORLANDO, Fla. – An 18-year-old woman was arrested on Wednesday after police say she stabbed another teen in the neck during an argument.

Madison Carson has been charged with attempted second-degree murder and aggravated battery in the stabbing on East Jefferson Street.

Police said the victim looked around the corner of the house and asked a witness standing nearby where her boyfriend was. The witness said the boyfriend would be arriving soon and when the victim looked around the house again, Carson attacked the victim with two knives, according to the report.

The victim then picked up one of the knives and attacked Carson, who stabbed the victim in the neck, police said.

Both the victim and Carson were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where the victim is in serious but stable condition.

Carson was in and out of consciousness, but police said hospital officials reported her lack of lucidity may be due to drugs or alcohol.

Police found Carson to be the primary aggressor and filed charges against her.
