Man shot dead in same neighborhood where 2 others slain

Orlando police investigate 3 deaths

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man is dead after witnesses say someone shot him in front of his north Orlando apartment Sunday morning.

Orlando police investigators say the shots were fired shortly before 5 a.m. at the Village Springs Apartment complex at, 5100 Cinderlane Parkway.

Witnesses say the 25-year-old victim, Adam Williams, was staying with relatives in the complex.

The complex is next door to the Eagle Reserve Apartments, where two adults were found dead inside an apartment on Friday.  A child was transported to Arnold Palmer Hospital.  Investigators have not released any more details about that investigation.

Some neighbors say they were surprised at what happened, while others say they're concerned that crime is a growing problem.

" It's not a very pleasant neighborhood. It's not a nice neighborhood," one neighbor told Local 6.

"When I go to sleep, I lock my doors at 6 o'clock every night," he said.  "I'm scared to go to the store in the middle of the night -- at 10 o'clock. They hang out over here at the bus stop you know."

The Orlando Police Department is asking for anyone who may have seen or heard anything at the time of the incident, or with any information on who may have committed this crime to call the Orlando Police Department Homicide Unit or Crimeline.
