Fla. Turnpike reopens in Lake County
Dump truck overturns in southbound lanes
CLERMONT, Fla. – A dump trucked overturned Tuesday morning on the Florida Turnpike in Lake County, forcing officials to close the roadway.

All southbound lanes of the Turnpike were closed at mile marker 283, south of the U.S. Highway 27 exit near Clermont. The roadway reopened a couple hours later.
Troopers said Ian Hernandez was driving northbound on the Turnpike when he lost control of the vehicle and hit the guardrail, spilling diesel fuel onto the roadway.
Hernandez was ticketed for careless driving.
Video from Local 6 helicopter Sky 6 showed a dump truck on its side and work crews using sand to absorb some type of liquid that spilled from the truck.
