NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. – Firefighters put out a small fire Friday at 524 N. Dixie Freeway.
According to the New Smyrna Beach Fire Department, the fire started in a bedroom in a building that also has an antique shop.

Officials said it took a small amount of water to extinguish the fire, which caused minimal damage, mostly to items in the room.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
