CASSELBERRY, Fla. – One person was killed in an overnight mobile home fire in Seminole County, according to officials.
Firefighters said they were called to a home on Bayou Drive in Casselberry around 3 a.m. Sunday.
"It was red hot," said Constance Campbell. "It was burning all over the place."
Campbell woke up Sunday morning to the sound of fire trucks as firefighters battled the intense flames that she said were shooting out of her neighbor's mobile home.
"I was hoping the trees weren't going to catch fire because if they would've fallen on my place, I was gone," Campbell said.
The victim, whose name hasn't been released, used a walker to get around, according to neighbors.
"There was no way he could get out if he couldn't walk," Campbell said.
Investigators are working to find out what sparked the fire.
