Tamara Ann Rogers, 51, of Oak Hill, was arrested on charges of accessory after the fact to second-degree murder and knowingly gibing false information to law enforcement.

The Volusia County Sheriff's Office said the incident happened around 8:24 p.m. in the 300 block of Beehive Drive in Oak Hill.

Paul Thompson, 37, Rogers' boyfriend, has been charged with second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder.

Scott Ramsey, 26, died at the scene, while Donald Smith, 22, was taken to Halifax Health Medical Center with severe wounds.

Deputies said after the stabbing, Thompson left the area on a bicycle.

Rogers was arrested at the home she shared with Thompson.

Authorities said that over the course of the investigation, Rogers repeatedly changed her account of the events following the stabbing. She initially denied that she assisted Thompson in escaping the area of the crime.
