11 heroin overdoses reported from same area in 24-hour span
Some victims died, Orange County deputies say
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – The Orange County Sheriff's Office said Thursday that at least 11 heroin overdoses were reported in a 24-hour span in the area of Blossom Park.
Deputies said many of the overdose victims have ended up in the hospital, and some of the victims have died.
OCSO said deputies were sent to the the area to ensure there is a high visibility of law enforcement in hopes of preventing the sale and usage of heroin in the area.
