Police: Woman charged with conspiracy to commit murder

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. – A New Smyrna Beach woman has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder after she solicited a man to perform the crime.

New Smyrna Beach Police said that they have arrested Pamela King Vanordale, 50, from New Smyrna Beach for conspiracy to commit murder.

The Daytona Beach Police Department supplied information to the New Smyrna Beach Department about the conspiracy.

The investigation revealed that Vanordale contacted a man known to her and asked him to murder another man with a firearm that she intended to provide, officers said.

Police located Vanordale and was taken into custody without incident. The firearm she planned to use was collected from her home after investigators obtained a search warrant.

Vanorsdale is in Volusia County Branch Jail with a $25,000 bond.
