Customers forced into freezer during IHOP robbery

Orlando police search for two armed suspects

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police are searching for two armed men who forced workers and customers into the freezer during a robbery at an IHOP restaurant Monday night.

Police were called to the IHOP on East Colonial Drive just after 10 p.m. Monday.

Investigators said the men took money from the restaurant and customers. They then forced everyone inside the restaurant into the freezer while they fled from the area in an unknown vehicle.

The suspects were wearing dark hooded sweatshirts and gloves. Both men had their faces covered.

Police said no one was injured during the robbery.
